Emergency Water Damage Restoration
24 hour response for burst pipes, leaks and flooding, from water removal to final repairs.
Learn moreThe first hours after a leak or flood decide how much of your property can be saved. Our water mitigation specialists stop the spread, dry the structure and prevent mould.

Water mitigation is the work done right after water damage to stop it from getting worse. Restoration is the repair work that follows. Mitigation comes first, and it decides how big the restoration job will be.
Good mitigation means getting the water out, removing only what cannot be saved, drying the structure to a measured standard and preventing mould. Done quickly and properly, it can be the difference between drying a few walls and rebuilding a whole basement.

| Water mitigation | Water restoration | |
|---|---|---|
| Goal | Stop damage from spreading | Return the property to its condition before the loss |
| When | Immediately, in the first hours and days | After the structure is dry |
| Typical work | Extraction, removing wet materials, drying, dehumidifying, antimicrobial treatment | Drywall, insulation, flooring, baseboards, cabinets, paint |
| Equipment | Pumps, extractors, air movers, dehumidifiers, moisture meters | Construction tools and materials |
We do both, so the same crew that dries your home also puts it back together.

Learn moreMitigation stops the damage from spreading: extraction, drying and mould prevention. Restoration repairs what was damaged: drywall, flooring and finishes. Mitigation always comes first.
Extraction and setup usually happen on the first visit. Drying generally takes three to five days, depending on the materials and how long they were wet.
When the cause of the water damage is covered by your policy, the mitigation work is usually covered too. Your insurer will want documentation, which we provide.
If water got into drywall, under flooring or into carpet pad, yes. Small leaks inside walls are a common cause of mould because they are not dried properly. A moisture check will tell you for sure.
